Event Details

Join the Centre for the New Midlands for our Reimagining the Region Spring Reception, to be held at The Park Playground, Brindley Place, Birmingham.

We have booked the venue solely for the use of our Reimagining the Region members who will hear first hand how eXtended Realities (Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and Mixed Reality) are being used to enhance the lives of people across the West Midlands.

Our guests will then be invited to immerse themselves in captivating stories and VR worlds that “spring to life before your eyes through the VR headset”. We will have a number of different experiences for our members to experience VR technology first hand and with other members!

THE FORMAT:

We ask that guests arrive between 5.00pm and 5.30pm as our event will commence promptly at 5.30pm.

We are delighted to be joined by some of the region’s most experienced and knowledgeable VR practitioners and researchers who will share their insights into the world of eXtended Realities, but also how these technologies are being applied across the West Midlands region to enhance people’s lives.
