Tolu has over 15 years’ experience developing and implementing investment propositions on behalf of both public and private sector investors globally – including as chief investment officer for two UK pension funds.

His focus is now primarily on developing infrastructure as a catalyst for socio-economic growth; delivering results which balance public sector policy aims and outcomes with private sector commercial ambitions.

His in-depth experience cuts across energy transition, placemaking and transport infrastructure – negotiating and managing relationships and contracts at the interface of the public and private sectors as well as structuring deals that often require pulling together strands to form a coherent “big picture” in order to attract investment and maximise efficient delivery.

He is a chartered accountant, was educated at both Oxford and Cranfield universities in the UK and named in the 40 under 40 Chief Investment Officers globally in 2014.
