Harbinder is an Architect and Creative Director of Birdi & Partners, a London based consultancy that provides design advisory services to government bodies, academic institutes, and the private sector.

He currently acts as an advisor for Hs2, OPDC, Ealing, Camden, Croydon and Brent Council. He has been advising Hs2 on the design of Euston station and over-site development and is currently informing government policy on the role of design in major infrastructure projects. Previously he held the position as Partner and Head of Infrastructure at Hawkins\Brown Architects, where he led the design and delivery for Tottenham Court Road station, Crossrail and coordinated the delivery of Bond St and Liverpool St station. He was also the Principal Architect that led the design for the central section of Thames Tideway Tunnel.

Harbinder grew up in Coventry and has practiced architecture in Birmingham as well as being an advisor to Birmingham City University School of Architecture. He recently developed the designs for the new proposed Solihull Station.
