Huw is the HS2 Delivery Director for Stations & Placemaking. Prior to this he held various senior roles on major UK rail schemes all joined by the thread of social and economic regeneration.
Huw’s experience spans the design and construction of the Docklands Light Railway, Jubilee Line Extension, Channel Tunnel Rail and modernisation of London Underground stations. Huw was the first Advance Works Project Manager for Crossrail / Elizabeth line, whilst at the same time being the overall Project Manager for Crossrail Line 2. Huw then spent nine years in the team that created the London Overground network and six years managing a series of complex Network Rail infrastructure modernisation programmes.
Most recently, before HS2, Huw was MTR Corporation’s Programme Director supporting the Crossrail / Elizabeth line delivery into service.
