Emma has over 20 years’ experience providing legal advice to housing providers, particularly private registered providers and other charitable organisations. She leads the housing sector at Anthony Collins specialising in housing management. Day-to-day she provides advice to landlords on compliance with housing legislation and (where applicable), drafting and reviewing occupancy agreements, policies and procedures and management agreement, and rent and service charge compliance including handling of First-tier Tribunal applications. Emma is the co-author of the National Housing Federation’s ‘Service charges and rent charges: a guide for social housing landlords’ book. 

Emma was born and raised in the Midlands, so is particularly passionate about good quality supply of housing across the Midlands and promoting the region and all it has to offer. She was shortlisted for the Birmingham Law Society Pro Bono Awards in 2020/2021 for the pro bono work she delivered for West Midlands taskforce on homelessness.
