Professor Guy Daly is an experienced senior leader and manager of higher education as well as an experienced non-executive director in social housing, the NHS, further and primary education, as well as being a past elected member in local government.
At the end of August 2024, he will step down from the position of Provost and Senior Vice-President of the British University in Egypt, a position that he has occupied for the last two and a half years, to take up a number of non-executive roles including, from September 2024 onwards, that of Chair of the Housing and Communities Leadership Board at the Centre for the New Midlands.
He is an experienced researcher and has overseen projects valued at c£10 million. He has produced 4 books and over 100 papers and reports.
